Reading Elantris

I enjoyed Elantris, though I prefer his other books more. I don't mind Serene, but I'd have to agree, Raoden is a better character I think.

I just finished re-reading Elantris. For me, this may be Brandon Sanderson's best book, probably because he was forced to condense the story. I also felt that Hrathen was the most interesting character; he was the character that underwent the most change, while Sarene and Raoden seemed to be pretty static in terms of character development. For some reason, I felt Sarene was very similar to Vin from the first Mistborn trilogy.
