I'm not a big Anya fan but I'd just like to say that under all that demon-now-human exterior she's a little smarter than anyone gives her credit. Even though she is not my favorite, she adds color to the Scooby gang.
 
As far as the scobby gang is concerned Anya is my favorite. Not only do I personally find her to be the best looking of the bunch, but she sells her characters eccentricties with great enthusiasm. She not only has to say her lines but act them also.
She also puts a lot of humor into the show. I crack up everytime she talks about zander in a sexual way.
Well, in a nut shell, my opinion is that any number of cute girls could play the part of the slayer, but there is only one Anya.
 
Ooh you go too far, grasshopper..... theres only one Buffy....

I do like the character of Anya, she's so enthusiastic about certain things, like her job at the magic shop..

Some people say she replaces Cordelia in the scooby gang, but shes much more than the comedy foil with a sharp tongue, I like the scenes where she's telling Xander about some guy she tortured and totally freaking him out, then jsut saying something like "oh but I wouldnt want to do that to you" and getting romantic with him....
The comedy of her character is outstanding, the paradox between man hating revenge demon and young girl with "girl" emotions is brilliant :D
 
I am glad we both agree on how cool Anya is. How about Glory? If she was a regular cast member she would be my favorite. I really liked all the fight scenes between her & Buffy. From Glory's "I want you to know all this beating the hell out of you that I'm doing is vaulable time in life I'm not going to get back" to when Willow & friend teleported her far above the city.
They cracked me up. You have to admit ( Buffy's sister backed me up on this one) that Glory does look hotter than Buffy.
Have fun and watch the stars.
 
i like the charactor of anya too, the part is well acted...peachy
 
Umm I dunno, Gary. Buffy is still top of my list, and we've only seen a couple of the Glory episodes in the UK, the latest one was when she sent the three demons after Buffy which Tara made invisible by accident...

Hi. I think Anya is quite a funny character in Buffy. The way she acts so 'innocent'. I'm sure she could teach the Scooby gang a thing or two about Demons. Annette.

yeah I'm surprised they dont quiz her more about the demons and stuff shes come across in her time...

Yeah they totally ought to quiz Anya more about demons. And speaking of, wasn't Willow invited to become a vengance demon when she cast some angry spells? Isn't that how Anya become a vengance demon also, by casting? If so how come she's not doing the witch thing now?

And oh yeah, she's totally hot. Whats really funny though is seeing her on re-runs of 90210 and expecting her to be all Anya-literal about everything.
 
thats true about Willow and the vengeance demon thing... I guess Anya's pretty happy as a human for now, she seems to be having a pretty good time with Xander ;)
 
Yeah but then Anya did say in Xanders dream (in helpless, end of season 4) that she was finking of going back into the vengeance business again
 
yeah, staying with xander and bein' in the scooby gang is way better than that vengeance business:D
 
wot, the demon vengeanance business or being in the scooby gang? i fink booth r pretty cool :D
 
well i'd want to be in the scooby gang to be around my Buffy...

but the vengeance demon job has its perks as well :D
 
yeah, weekends travelling dimensions leaving distruction in your path & forcing innocents 2 worship u sounds like a fun life 2 me..........:D
