Carol makes a deal with Pamela to wipe the slate clean on behalf of her friends. Aaron, Jerry, Lydia and Elijah get on the road to Oceanside to fill them in on a plan. The Commonwealth celebrates Founders Day.

I really don't know why they saved these episodes for autumn season, when they should have done the run and finished it over the summer.

How the ef Pamela, Mercer and Carol found their way into the sewer setup to save Hornsby's ass at the crucial moment? It's not like they broadcasted the location and marked with a GPS pin. Maggie ruined their radio and they were out in the wasteland. And yet Pamela and Mercer walked into the place as if they'd always been in the op, waiting in the next room.

The only pleasure in that situation was Daryl severing Hornsby's hand with his battle knife. The deal, "Pamela provides everything we need to rebuild," Carol said. "And then we just go home."

It wasn't going to pay for the loss of lives, but Maggie took it because it was the only thing they had as the fighting the Commonwealth wasn't an option. The biggest problem that they had was the amount of time it'd take to gather all the supplies.

Judith was the smart one as she not only refused to take Rick's gun, but she couldn't understand how they could go back to their broken homes and leave behind the glory of the Old World. She claimed that Daryl was, "running away instead of staying in for the fight."

"Do you mind? I'm sitting on an anthill over here!" Hornsby shouted.

Mercer walker over and hissed at his face. "Get used to it."

But the snake wasn't faced by the general as he went on and claimed that Mercer's men weren't his. They were just men for the Commonwealth. Soldiers for the cause.

When Pamela came over he told her to "Drop the act."

She smiled. "No act, Lance. You've gone too far."

Hornsby chuckled. "Seriously? You never seemed to have a problem with how I got the job done before."

"We are not talking about the past. Only now." Touche. There was nothing he could say to save his life in the Commonwealth. The reason, he wasn't ever a player. So the slippery joe pulled a joker out from his sleeve and claimed that a certain third party would come to looking for him and Commonwealth would go down because of it.

Is Hornsby part of the Helicopter people?

Back in the Commonwealth Pamela announced the end of Hornsby era and the beginning of the Founder's Day celebrations. What happened to the horde?

Ezekiel felt that his place was among the Commonwealth and not in the Alexandria, building homes and lives. He just wanted thing to work, "before another Kingdom falls apart." Not that it was going to last, as the history of Rick's people is cause ruin wherever they end up, as it could be seen from Pamela's efforts on grooming the wonder boy to take the throne.

Even though they don't know it already it feels that the Commonwealth is going down, and it's not going to be a pretty occasion, but the last fall of American Imperium. Sebastian said the same thing and she wanted to remain in the city, while Eugene wanted to flee and go back to the safety of the Ricknation.

With Pamela on helm, it was never going to happen. So Eugene went to dick dirt from Hornsby's and the man wasn't willing to share his intel for a sugary apple. Instead, he warned Eugene on not making the same mistake as he did, but make a deal with Pamela.

Clever man as he still has his people, armed and willing to murder people without making sure that they didn't turn in the city. All just before the festivities were about to start on next door. The truth was as boy wonder put it, "Commonwealth is built onto buying into BS. They want to be told that everything's A-okay, so that they can go about ignoring the god damn mess this world really is. The desperate really need to believe that the old American dream is still real. The reality is that the poor stays poor and the rich do whatever the hell we want. The game is rigged. There are no bootstraps to pull up. Christ, my mom hand-picks the lottery winners. None of it ever matters."

Eugene's gf cleverly recorded all of it, and then finished the deal by announcing, "Maybe you're just an a-hole. Nothing never changes."

There was nothing he could, when Eugene played the words back when it was time to hear the Founder's message. The cat was out of the bag and nobody was able to put it back in. And then the Dead walked in to that chaos. What a perfect riot. And because of it, Sebastian was caught in the hands of the Dead and got chomped.
