Christopher Plummer, Sound of Music star and oldest actor to win an Oscar, dies aged 91

A sad loss but a long life lived. I loved his Shakespeare quoting Klingon in Star Trek VI.

Saw him on stage in London when I was young (16?) He played what I remember was a Canadian politician involved in a scandal.

Relevant here is that he played in many SFF & Horror epics(?) including Starcrash, Somewhere In Time, Dreamscape, Vampire In Venice, Firehead, 12 Monkeys, Wolf, Dracula 2000, National Treasure, The Lake House, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Priest, and most memorably (for me) Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country as General Chang. "Cry 'havoc!' and let slip the dogs of war"
