Any Halloween reading suggestions?

The Father Thing by Philip K. Dick. SF but reads like horror.

His story Upon the Dull Earth could fit nicely into horror category . It would have also made a great Twilight Zone episode .

Sail-25 by Jack Vance. Both humorous.
Genuinely curious how how have gone from HP Lovecraft to a Jack Vance ss about a training flight in a solar sail space ship in a thread on Halloween reading suggestions.
