Apparently, the woolly mammoth could live to 60 years, while Neanderthals were unlikely to live to 40 years - which is very interesting:

I keep thinking that unless society melts down in some way, and technology keeps advancing it's going to be hard to imagine what might be possible.

It’s interesting for each of us to consider how long we’d have lived without modern medicine.

I had a serious infection at the age of 28 that would have probably finished me off without antibiotics.
