I read Tales of Beedle the Bard yesterday or the day before; I have to say it's a really cute addition to the Harry Potter collection. It's been a long time since I finished Book 7, but via this new book, it was quite easy to slip back into that world.



It's a quick read and very interesting. I wouldn't say that it adds a lot to the previous installments, but it was fun.

I also read the Tales and enjoyed them. A very quick read and well done. Love the fact that the proceeds goes to a children charity.

This book has, predictably, jumped from the shelves and flown from the bookshops. Stockings across the land will have a thin square bulge at the bottom this year I think.

Or, the very, very lucky will have a considerably much larger and heavier version... in a bag!

These stories were a real dissapointment for me. Besides the comments of Dumbledore, the tales are not original.
