Re: Nine princes to Amber - Roger Zelazny

This bibliography, which I compiled very quickly, is incomplete, as you can see. The books I haven't read are marked with an asterisk.
For instance, I didn't categorise every novel (SF or F). Can you help me?

After compiling this, I realise I haven't read all novels. In fact, I'm far from it...

Roger Zelazny

Re: Nine princes to Amber - Roger Zelazny

Well done Giovanna at getting this Zelazny forum initiated.

You see, people power does count!...:)

Normally this thread is set up as a sticky thread in the other author subforums, so I'll ask the mods to stick the thread for you.

Cheers.

Maybe someone can edit it for you, unfortunately my moderator powers do not extend to this particular forum.

As I said, my bibliography is incomplete.

Ian posted a useful link. Here it is: Roger Zelazny - Summary Bibliography[/URL]

That one is incomplete and has some errors in it. The bibliography published by NESFA, to accompany the 5-volume collection, will be updated and complete.

so, it is not complete, now?

The ISFDB bibliography linked to in an earlier post is not complete, no. The bibliography to be published by NESFA is complete (I've compiled it), but of course there is always the possibility that there are published or unpublished Zelazny items out there that were missed or remain to be discovered. Which is why I have invited any collectors who may think they possess unique material to let me know about it, either to list in the bibliography, or to include in the 5-volume collection of stories and poems. I have discovered a few additional pieces that way, as well as via the Zelazny archives at various university libraries and other sources.

Don't know if this is still live but I hope the following is helpful:

Suggested edits to titles:

I don't have a book titled A Rose for Ecclesiastes but do have a short story collection: Four for Tomorrow —Ace, 1967 headlining that story.

make: The Lamp of His Mouth, the Doors of His Face
into: The Doors of His Face, the Lamps of His Mouth

make: The Graveyard Hear
into: The Graveyard Heart

make: Dilvish the Damned
into: Dilvish, the Damned

The following as collections:
The Doors of His Face, the Lamps of His Mouth
The Last Defender of Camelot
Unicorn Variations

Co-Authors
Bring Me the Head of Prince Charming —Robert Sheckley
The Black Throne —Fred Saberhagen
Flare —Thomas T Thomas
Deus Irae —Philip K Dick

Series
Wizard World combines Madwand and Changeling. My edition shows a copyright date of 1980 instead of 1989.

Not actually a series but the main character from This Immortal, Francis Sandow, makes a brief appearance in To Die in Italbar thus placing both novels in the same universe.

Two collections to add to the list:
A Visual Guide to Amber —Avon 1988, and
The Illustrated Roger Zelazny —Ace 1978
The latter contains a Shadowjack story and (mostly) visual material relating to Amber

Other stuff
Amber diceless Roleplaying game by Erick Wujcik (Zelazny also credited on the cover) —Phage Press 1991 "Corwin Cycle".
There is also a "Merlin Cycle" (1993) entitled Shadowknight which I've never seen.
