Who has an explination for Ruth??

ruth means kindness, just as ruthless means without kindness or charity. In the book where they establish the colony and create the dragons from fire lizards, there is some indication that ruth's type of dragon has a specific purpose. The great dragons have a hive mind, almost. everything happens now but they see the future and the past to be able to go inbetween, the tesseracting that dragons do. Ruth exhibits a greater communion with his rider then any other dragon. he has less of a sense of self. and Jaxom does get a girlfriend. i did see the seclusionism that suggests homosexuality, that you suggest, but I think ruth is more of a celibate then a confirmed one side or the other. like those hermits that stable their energy for other matters.
