Really? I actually enjoyed Standard of Honor more than Knights of the Black and White. KotBaW just seemed to take forever for any kind of real action to happen - SoH got into the immediacy of it much sooner.

There's an excerpt from Order in Chaos in the back of the SoH which is a fantastic read. I hope it's a harbinger of what the entire book is like.

FYI: Jack's next project is a trilogy tentatively called "The Guardians of Scotland". It will feature separate volumes covering the histories of James "The Black" Douglas, William Wallace, and Robert the Bruce.
 
There must be more books on this part of history?


You dont have to mention only english language writers. If you know some other good books from nun english countries in europe and Asia let me know.

There are prolly translations of them out there.
I also agree books should tackle this great incident with much due care, especially to the facts and not probaganda
