The 'Cos I'm An Elf' Song

Oh a Wizard may use his wand to fight,
Or a Dwarf may use an axe, OH!
A Human may slice his sword through the night,
But I'll use my bow -oh -oh!
I'm an Elf and I'll use my bow!

A Hobbit may dig 'neath the green green turf,
With a Dwarf far down below,
Men may may build by valley or surf,
But I'm not one for the low -oh -oh!
I'm an Elf and I won't live below!

Oh an Eagle may fly all over the sky,
A Dwrf may dig till he's KO'd!
A Man may run from his homeland till he dies,
But I'm content in Lo-rien,
I'm happy to live here in Lo!

I'm happy -- to live --- here in LO!!!!!!!
 
Thats really good! I'm rubbish at poetry so i'll leave it up to you!
 
have you got a tune for that? whats the tempo? I'm sure i could try and make a tune....

Okies be nice.. this one is a little bad..... in fact, it has V little to do wiv Tolkein except one of the interpretations of it.....

The trees may live and the trees may die,
But I go ever on.
There may be no earth and may be no sky,

O'er mountains or under,
As mortals may wonder,
I go ever on.

When the world was young,
And the song still sung,
I played with them all of the day.
But now they are gone, m'lady,

that last one rocks! its sooooo cool i think i will copy it onto card and frame it!

Ok, that is a chorus from a song i sung in a musical one time. dont worry, the teachers made it up so its not copywrited! Ok, I am really bad at peotry, and i thought it was very dwarfy (cos they like gold). Can anyone make up some verses?
 
ok, this is not a song, but a poem i *just* wrote so sorry if its rubbish!

Tis called 'The fellowship'

Gandalf Grey, the wise and old,
The leader of the Quest.
Aragorn a man quite proud,
His sword will stab through chest.
Gimli, dwarf of kindly nature
Beware! His axe will kill!
The hobbit, Frodo, strong of heart,
Of courage and great will.
The hobbit friends, how could I not,
Describe each one by one?
For Merry is a happy fellow,
Ready for some fun.
Oh dear, oh no! I quite forgot,
The charm and cheeky grin,
Mischievous, this little one,
Of course! It’s Peregrin!
Now Sam is but a farmer’s son,
But he journeyed far and wide
His loyalty would never die,
But stayed by his Masters side.
Boromir, Minas Tirith
Does call you to a war.
Alas, but no, the ring cried louder,
And stripped your will red raw.
But wait a mo, I hear you cry,
There’s one still left to go.
Who have I missed? oh, let me think,
The Elf with deadly bow.
Legolas, with golden hair,
He is a Silvan elf
Light-footed with a cheery heart,
Immortal; no ill health
Sharp of eye and ear and arrow,
He flows with Elvish grace,
I melt inside, I really do,
Each time I see his face.
For he, above the rest, I choose,
As my favorite of the Nine,
So back off, I warn you now,
LEGOLAS IS MINE!

LOL.....

I'll get back to you on that one. My newest may be the adventure I'm on at the minute... "Two Elves, one Quest... One Pot of Polish"

BTW.... LOVE the poem:D MORE! Legolas Love poetry?
 
I wrote that poem in about 10 mins so i guess i not that bad eh?
I'll try to do a few more, might not be love peoms tho!
