Song Book Of Middle Earth

aaaw those r great!
hehe especially the tree one, but i'm sure I have more fun then a tree would tho...lol!

Oth wrote these after a sojourn in the woods. They are yet to be tided but I share as she performed. Entitled simply:

There is

There's a fire that in the depths is heating,
There's a whisper carried on high by the winds,
There's a pulse which lives within the beating,
And the song which comes from the land of dreams.

There's a light that in the sky is smiling,
There's a love which thrums upon the breeze,
There's a beat which round the world is echoing,
And the shadows cannot touch it, in the land of dreams.

There's a home that finds me a-calling,
There's a peace the world cannot see,
There's a unity into which we are a-falling,
And I want only that you find it with me.

There's a time which spans beyond reckoning,
There's a dawn which eyes can never see,
There's a place beyond ending and beginning,
And the only way to know it is to be.

There's a fight which there is no use denying,
There's a pain which hurts to eternity,
There's a path we all find sighing,
No signs or directions, and more branches than a tree.
There's a silence in us all that is a-crying,
And the only way to know it is to be.

I'm better at drawing (will have some fan art up soon!) and atr and drama but not MUSHing...fortunately

Untitled, or Flute Song

And will a'not come aga-ain?
Under the bough of the tree-e?
Or did you leave me and are gone?
O'er the deep wide blue sea?

And will a'not see your fa-ace?
Shining like the su-n?
I could not keep your pace!
And you went on alone.

Your fe-et as li-ght as sno-w,
Eyes as bri-ght as sta-r.
What would I give to see you now?
But I cannot as you are so far.

Yet still in my dreams you're with me,
Ho-lding, co-mforti-ng.
And i'th wind is you so-ng,
And I know where I belong.

And though a'not come aga-in,
Under the sight of mellry-n,
I know you are here by my side,
O'er th deep blue sea wide.

oh that rules!

ok - we gor elven music sorted - Enya or celtic stuff - but what about dancing? I imagine it to be soft-shoe Irish dancing, with flowing clothes and soft music - all tranquil and stuff

what about anyone else?

Clarification please?
(So I know whether to be grateful or offended!;))

One of our better local all Welsh druid male voice choirs.

I'd say it was a compliment. They were winners at the Llangollen Internationl Eysteddfordd last year!
