I'm trying to locate a short story about a sphere that gets sent back in time and as condensation droplets form the physical characteristics of the scientists change. My granddaughter is into astrophysics as a major and I thought she'd find the paradoxes interesting.

Thx for sharing this. I found the author's notes a fascinating window into how America in 1947 influenced/inspired his story... and of the fearful reaction it got from many leading editors.
