I toasted him with a shot of Chilean Mistral, that I got given for Christmas. A very smooth firewater.

Well, the beer was disappointing (chosen by someone else), but the event was a cheery one as always. I've been doing this since about the early 2000s or so. It's a Tolkien Society tradition.
