A series of short(ish) stories about (funnily enough) Brian who turns out to be the latest in a line of "Van Helsings", effectively earth's last line of defence against things that go bump in the night.

Thrust unwillingly in this role Brian is a waster more interested in getting drunk or high (or both) whilst bemoaning his luck with.... well life in general. Socially inept and foul-mouthed he is an unlikely hero and yet...
A series of 5 books (so far) tracks his development and it does make for a fun (if puerile) ride with classic rock references thrown in and a brilliant hero car. Personally I loved it!
