Black Hole Accretion Disk Theory Proved Wrong

I did not catch the full drift of the article. Maybe that's just me.

I find black holes (and their cousins, neutron stars) to be fascinating.

I view with a bit of skepticism results from a laboratory trying to mimic the environment of a black hole. Inherently, the experiment is artificial -- as are all sorts of subatomic particles not found in nature. I lack the education to have much more than a cursory comprehension of them, though.
