(Probably Found) Searching for a sci fi title

im trying to remember the name of two novels (a series that promised a third) in the past 12 months. Its about a team of astanouts who go into space and fly through a membrane and once inside time keeps repeating itself. One of the persons (maybe a journo...) survives and watches himself and the others as they go mad and kill each other. Its haunting but a great read.

Try The Explorer - James Smythe. That fits with the story. There is a sequel I haven't read called The Echo. They're listed as parts of "The Anomaly Quartet".
