A friend of mine passed quite a few years ago and I thought that there had to be a suitable quote from TP that would suit the moment but I was unable to find something that fit and that was a shame as the man had a way with words.

anyway my personal favorite has to be Vimes and Carrot just discussing Ankh-Morpork life.
