Bethesda has announced that the fourth add-on pack for Fallout: New Vegas will be available next month, followed shortly by two additional pieces of downloadable content.

Lonesome Road involves a courier mission that leads you into the depths of the hurricane-swept and earthquake-marked canyons of the Divide, from whence no one ever returns.

But you’ll have to both venture there and return if you wish to find out why Ulysses – the man who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of Fallout: New Vegas – didn’t take that job.

“It’s up to you whether you take the job or not,” Bethesda notes, dramatically. But if you’re not going to take it, we suggest you don’t bother forking out for the add-on.

Lonesome Road will be out on XBL, PSN and Steam on September 20th for £7.49, or 800 MS Points on the Xbox.

Some new additional minor bits of DLC are also on the way the following week, on September 27th to be precise.

Courier’s Stash will cost 160 MS Points (or around £1.50) and grants access to four content bundles which were previously available only to those who pre-ordered New Vegas.

Namely, The Caravan Pack, Classic Pack, Mercenary Pack and Tribal Pack, all of which offer new weapons and equipment.

Gun Runners’ Arsenal will be double the price of the stash at 320 MS Points (just under £3), and will introduce a fresh range of new weapons, mods and recipes to the expanse of the Mojave Wasteland.
