This is the RTS that Cyanide Studios has been working on. It seems to be available at Amazon for about 32 dollars

I'm going to wait for reviews before getting it. I'm more of a MMORPG or RPG person, and I need to hear what afficionados of the RTS genre think.

A Game Of Thrones – Genesis is now available for download on the official online store at 39.99€ - $39.99 - £29.99. The game has also reached Europe and Australia through your favorite retail stores - game available in the UK/German retail stores on Friday 30th.

It's not clear if the retail version is available outside of Europe.

it sounds like something to steer clear of. What a shame.

According to some youtube video I watched a few days ago (which might be difficult for me to find now) the game takes place 8000 years before the events of the series. BUT, in the trailer, I saw someone sitting on the iron throne.

It would seem that Cyanide Studios decided not to do much research. Shame, because this only makes me wonder what other disappointments I would find in playing this game.
