Cowboy/SF TV series from Fox

There's a story on the front page of the Chrons regarding a Cowboy and Science Fiction cross over series that Fox are planning.

It's great that it means more Science Fiction on the TV, but i am cheesed off that they wouldn't bring Firefly/Serenity back.

I appreciate that everyone's moved on to pastures new, but isn't it a shame to cancel something like that only to bring it back again as a movie, drop it and now release a similar TV show using the same premis?

I must say, I was incredulous of this when I read it. The story originates from the 'Hollywood Reporter' and the TV show is a completely different project to the Cowboy Bebop film with Keanu Reeves.

Who knows which planet Fox live on, but the Firefly cast have all moved on to other things now and you wouldn't expect anything else.
