Okay, I have seen the banner for the new anime version of the comic book Witchblade pop up above these forums so much that I need to ask the following question. Is it any good? I have yet to see any bit of it outside of a trailer that was broadcast at the 2006 AX. The anime version didn't seem all too faithful to the comic book series. Is this true?
 
It's a total re-imaging set in Japan, animeondvd has a pretty in depth review here.
 
I just heard about this (they have a manga for it as well). I think I'm gonna need to check it out.
