Summary: Frederick Monash, a man in his late 50s, escapes from Daniel's forces but fails to make his rendezvous with Rachel's underground. All she knows is that he was a key person in Daniel's operation and he wants to defect. She seeks help from Jeremiah but won't tell him who she is trying to find until he arranges for Devon to meet them at Thunder Mountain. Rachel knows that Devon and Monash worked together at Valhalla Sector. That is shocking news to Jeremiah. No longer sure he can trust his father, Jeremiah agrees to let Mister Smith monitor Devon's efforts to break into Monash's old computer files while he and Kurdy join the search for Monash. Daniel's forces are searching, too. If Thunder Mountain can rescue him, Monash's information may help them defeat Daniel. But, if Devon cannot be trusted, Thunder Mountain also faces danger from within.
