DREAM
When daylight fades and night sweeps the sky,
The moon glows dully and the stars all fly,
Then Lady Dream comes out to play,
Until the night is consumed by day.
Into my head she silently flows,
Enters my thoughts and makes them grow.
She skillfully carves my imagination,
And weaves a world of fascination.
A flowing stream, a lush green meadow,
A deadly dark, a land of shadow.
A playful deer runs gracefully, free,
Darting swift from tree to tree.
Evil goblins mock and sneer,
Darkness, shadow, nighttime fear.
The Death Lord comes and takes a life,
Twisted marriage Man and Wife.
Soul escaping, standing tall,
Happy faerie spry and small.
Scary, terror, see His face,
Why bring me to this awful place?
Dream commands me, follow Death,
Head so heavy, short of breath.
Chilling laughter pierce my soul,
As Lord Death takes his deadly toll.
Dreamland Lady watches, waiting,
She knows what comes, anticipating.
Let Lady Dream catch the moonlight gleaming
I’m safe; I know I’m only dreaming.
*meant to rep. all the dreams I had about death a while ago*
LOVE
A soothing touch, a lingering kiss,
A world of enchantment, absolute bliss.
Your hand on mine, a single beat
Of hearts entwined in summer heat.
A golden rose with silken feel,
A calming voice helps soul to heal.
Playful breeze upon your face,
Warming smile in a cheerless place.
The sparking dew on autumn morn,
With you I watch the sleepy dawn.
A perfect life within my heart,
Love should never be apart.
*this one is just wierd*
RHYTHM of DREAMS
My dream has a beat can you hear it play?
So the world goes round and round,
And beating out a collision of sound.
The dream has a song can you hear what I say?
Dolphins singing, eagles soar,
Mixing melodies beat once more.
The dream has a rhythm let me show you.
Gloomy dusk and shining light,
Let the harmony dream take flight.
My dream is a song wont you let me show you?
Concertos, harmony, melody, tune,
You’ll see, you’ll hear the singing soon!
The music of life, it beats on and on,
The whispering grasses gently swaying,
The whistling wind to heaven praying.
Singing in eternal song.
Rippling water dully splashing,
Violent waves so forcefully crashing
I want to show you the rhythm of time.
Who will hear echoes of tales untold?
Let them ring until they unfold!
Can you see the beauty inside?
Glowing woodland peaceful and still,
Birds are singing high and shrill.
So now you know and understand,
The rhythm of dreams and life and land.
Injections *about my fear of*
“Don’t worry,†Dad said, “You’ll be fine, petal,
It’s only a piece of thin sharp metal.â€
“They’re easy,†Mum said, “I’ve had loads of them,â€
You try telling that to my mate Gem!
She’s petrified! She’s really scared.
My classmates tell me “Be prepared!
It hurts like hell! It’s like a dirty fat pin!â€
Well thanks a bunch for filling me in!
I feel so sick and dizzy inside,
I got so worked up I nearly cried!
I sit on a chair with a scary nurse,
Clinging so tightly onto my purse.
She says not to worry, I’m not gonna die.
I can’t help but think ‘what a big fat lie!â€
I glance at the needle, my stomach does a twist.
I tense my hand into a fist.
“That’s it! You’re done!†I hear her say.
Lizzy takes one look at me – “You feeling ok?
You look so pale, come on Rosie, breathe!â€
My eyes go fuzzy and I start to heave.
I can’t stand up straight and my legs wont stay up,
I gingerly sip water from a white plastic cup.
My arm aches like crazy, I dare not move it.
It’s gone all numb I can’t even feel it.
So that’s what it like, the adults tell fibs.
They say it don’t hurt so they don’t scare their kids.
But wouldn’t you rather hear it outright?
Before you’re finding you’re having to fight
to keep breakfast down, after feeing so sick,
Before having your head feel like its hit by a brick.
Before getting too dizzy you can’t even walk,
And everything’s fuzzy and you feel ill when you talk.
But that’s it for another 10 years!
I laugh as I try to bite back the tears.
In 10 years time? You must me joking!
I’m not doing that again, no more poking!
No more jabs or needles or injections!
I’d rather have the flamin’ infection!
I stop and think, after the pains gone away,
Hang on a moment, what did I say?
Infection? Aaagh! Don’t want one of those!
Those viruses really get right up my nose!
So I guess I have to have it again,
But be brave! Don’t fret! I’ll worry ‘bout it then!
hope ya likes!
