Yes, I'm posting in an old thread. I didn't really want to make a new thread in here as I'm new, but is there any thread devoted to what inspired Tolkien to write the LOTR trilogy?
 
Ordered a bunch of Tolkien books today, excited:D Unfinished Tales, Roverandum, Tales of the Perilous Realm and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight<<which was random!
 
Nice haul, Beal. Hopefully you've scoured the Trilogy, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion (at least!) before wandering into Unfinished Tales...if not, why, you have MORE books to order. :D
