Oh really? That sucks, I really wanted to see that one go through... Can you name some of the reasons?

I loved Buckaroo Banzai. That was a great film, I wish it was a franchise

I love it too though I would hardly call it a 'B-Movie' or an 'Awful Film'. And because I do love it so much I am really glad there never was a sequel let alone a franchise. It's special. (This is also why I am in denial about the Tron sequels.)

The films rather complex story was a bit too far off the beaten track for most movie goers . Even with wider distribution it would not have been a hit. Also the head of Vestron David Begelman and the films producer didn’t get along.

The Boogens 1981 Creepy Monsters in a mine . This one didn't do well with the critics but, it's actual not a half bad film also. It was novelized.

Yes, I thought that was actually pretty decent.
