Heroes confused me

Hi, guys. I feel confusing about Heroes; can you explain it for me?
Does anyone else find it stupid and irritating that despite the fact that Claire saved her adopted dad with her blood no one thought to do the same for bio-dad after he bled out? This happened back in Heroes season 2 when suresh shot Noah in the eye. You'd think they would tranq Sylar and cut his damn head off! Idiots Sylar has run his course and they should revive the real Nathan. Decent writing up until the season finale. So that's my rant.

you're right! Claire's blood would have saved Nathan, they never stipulated how long a body could be dead for before being revived by immortal blood.
It does make for a more interesting story, yes they should have killed Sylar once and for all, but they didn't, and it wont be long before he realises he isn't nathan, and he changes back to the killer once more.
If they did away with Sylar they would need a new villain, and one that is more powerful than any of the others individually.
I'm looking forward to Tracy Strauss being the icewoman, I wondered if she was dead when she shattered, but as has been done before in mutant stories, she is just water and so can re-form when she has melted.
Sylar is a much more interesting character than Nathan.

I gave up on heroes when nobody was ever dead, nobody was what they seemed and they didn't use the available powers logically. Throw in time travel to the mix and nothing need ever be resolved.

Started well though.

I'm only up to season 2 so far, very good. But corners were cut in season 2 because of a writers strike. At the same time Lost was affected by it too.

Season 2 was ok. Brace yourself for season 3 though. I think it had 2 or 3 interesting episodes out of 25. I long for characters that would actually die gracefully within the plot, like Isaac Mendez, and Linderman.

Why don't they bring back Claude Rains? He's one of the few surviving Heroes that never annoyed me.

The show has been lacking good direction for a very long time now. Characters like Hiro, Clair, Peter and Sylar have run their course, and ceased to interest me at all.

Well according to Deathray magazine season 3 had a different team cos the producer left after season2. For season 4 Bryan Fuller, the producer of Pushing Daisies is coming on board-he already created an episode in season one and worked on the end of season 3. Should be good!

Still waiting for Season 4, anyone know how long it will be? (not how many episodes, how long before I get to see it here in t'uk

I don't know if it will be shown earlier on a digital/satellite channel, but the BBC states that Season Four will be...

..."coming soon".

(Defying Gravity has ben "coming soon" for ages.)

I suspect that they don't want us to know (the answer to your latest question, I mean).

They are probably looking for space in the schedules where they'll have to postpone an episode or two because of some sporting event or other and then, with little or no warning, double up the episodes to catch up.

And how is this different from any other comic book/superhero story? Or soap opera, for that matter? :D

I agree that Sylar has run his course. (Although he made a fairly cool Spock, didn't he? Not awesome, but not bad, either.) I thought he was more interesting when it seemed he might find redemption (hey, I love anti-heroes).

But I haven't lost interest in Hiro. Not by a long shot. I have to admit, I liked the future Hiro even more, though. He was slick.

I'm a bit confused about Heroes, too. Bad guys became goos one (ex. Silar) and good one became bad guys (Ex. Suresh, Peter. Only Hiro remains the same.
