Well, two things I was looking forward to have already come to pass in 2009: I received both The Lies of Locke Lamora and The Name of the Wind in the mail! Read LoLL right now - wonderful!
So, I'm looking forward to getting into Rothfuss, hopefully getting a double dose of him this spring with his first two books.

By now you will have lost sleep, missed deadlines, forgotten important dates, and wished you didn't have to wait until April for the next edition of Rothfuss's brilliance.

That's all I'm looking forward to so far this year, the sequel: The Wise Man's Fear.... other books I'll just browse for in the bookshops....

The Infinity Gate by Sara Douglass - Book 3 of Darkglass Mountains.

The Wisemans Fear by Patrick Rothfuss

The Wings of Wrath by C.S. Friedman

Beyond The Wall Of Time by Russell Kirkpatrick who has changed the name of the series from Husk to Broken Man.

It only came out in December UK. Looks like we'll be getting it February. Another one to add to the list.

I meant to mention also waiting for Ricardo Pinto's concluding book in the much underrated Stone Dance Of The Chameleon. Book 3 Third God due in March.

In no particular order:

Scott Lynch - The Republic of Thieves
Patrick Rothfuss - The Wise Mans Fear
T. A. Pratt - Spell Games
Trudi Canavan - Magician's Apprentice
Lisa Shearin - The Trouble with Demons
Richelle Mead - The Thorn Queen
Ilona Andrew - Magic Strikes
Rachel Vincent - Pride
Gail Martin - Dark Haven
Patricia Briggs - Bone Crossed

Well it's another novel in the discworld series.

Cool! The Librarian plays football? Can't wait to see the game. :D

Another book I'm waiting for is Clive Barker's 3rd Abarat: Absolute Midnight.

Dance with Dragons naturally, if it gets released. Beyond that, I'm looking forward to just a few books.
Yellow Blue Tibia by Adam Roberts
Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch
Dust of Dreams, by Erikson, naturally. No confirmed date on this though.

Also looking forward to finally getting my hands on my lettered SubPress edition of Gardens of the Moon, which I payed for... ooh, 18 months ago?

A Dance With Dragons - George R. R. Martin
Shadowrise - Tad Williams
Turncoat - Jim Butcher
Republic of Thieves - Scott Lynch
Dust of Dreams - Steven Erikson
Traitor's Gate - Kate Elliot

Probably some others, but I really can't think of them right now.
