A New Film to Challenge LOR

LoTR challenged by Narnia? not likely, Potter, maybe maybe not. Walden and Disney trying to capitalize on the success of those two by bringing in their own epic series? DUH.

Its not better than LOR. But as a movie version of a classic children's series, I would say it was pretty good. I was expecting the worst (HATED the Harry Potter movies!!!!) but it was much better than I expected, and much better done than the Harry Potter movies. Although I have to say that its bee na VERY long time since I read the books so I wasn't paying attention to the discrepencies which is the part I hate the most in movie versions.

Unfortunately yes! How i managed to stay awake thru the last one is beyond me!

I have hopes of the next movie ( I won't say "high"...but hopes). Its one of my favourite Narnia books, lots happens in it, I love sea stories and exploration stories, and the Dawn Treader is one of the grooviest ship names of all time. Should lend itself well to film, too.

I never read any of the Narnia books as a kid and only ever heard of The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. Hadn't a clue what Narnia was till quite recently!

you simply cannot compare these two films. LOTR is unparalleled.
