"House of Leaves". Seemed like a pretty good exploration game at first, but now it's 1000 hours in and you're still trapped in a corridor that's gone non-Euclidean. There's an FAQ, if you can figure out how to read it - the best information seems to be in the upside-down diagonal footnotes to the odd-numbered newspaper cuttings on pages 25, 117-167, 295 and 11,004-597.
 
Gray's Anatomy and Physiology comes to mind.
