The Warlord Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell are being filmed as a TV series. The first book The Winter King is in production. Don't know any of the cast except Eddie Marsen as Uther. Hopefully we will finally get a good Arthurian TV series.

Will there be a season 2?

Season 2 had not been confirmed by late October last year, so not sure if it will go ahead and I'm not hopeful.

I was very disappointed with the first season, though it had its moments. The books, IMO, were much better than The Last Kingdom novels, but I thought the Winter King TV adaptation didn't get anywhere close to the quality of TLK. I'd still watch more, though!
