Bladeless Wind Turbines, The Future Of Harnessing Wind Energy. l Blackridge Research
Electricity via wind is harnessed via classic wind turbines, but wind turbines have some adverse effects.Wind turbine blades are humongous and rotate at high speeds, which kill birds and bats that fly into them. The construction of wind farms can also disrupt the natural habitats of local...
There are expectations that not only would noise and wildlife endangering properties be much reduced, they'd be easier to maintain and cheaper to build as don't need the massive foundations of the current propeller turbines, fewer gears, and in the main the bits that need maintenance are not a long way above ground in a nacelle.
