Favorite Children's Books

What is/are your favorite(s)? They can either be ones you read from your childhood, ones that your youngsters, etc., or just ones you've read for fun.
The only ones I can think of now are Thunder Cake by Patricia Polacco and the Frog and Toad books by Arnold Lobel.

I have a small collection of Russian printed copies from the 1960's- 70's and other Russian fairy/folk tales. Beautifully illustrated.
