Will focus on Ronald's early life, how he first became a gunslinger.
I can't say I particularly liked the story within the story in Wizard and Glass (which I asume will be the source for this).

On the other hand, I don't watch Netflix, so there's always a silver lining....

They must have a lot of faith in Stephen Kings IP to adapt this so soon after the movie.

What about the movie, any good?

Didn't enjoy it, despite some great acting. But then (why wouldn't I?) I was expecting a rendition of the first book... Apparently, as a 'get-out' the producers said: "This is one version of The Gunslinger" which you wouldn't understand unless you'd read last page of the last book....

Sounds pretty isolationist. Wonder why they did that? Making movies ain't cheap.

Missed a golden opportunity to have a series of eight fabulous films that could have made billions, IMHO... instead, they alienated fans of the books, and didn't attract many new fans to the genre... Idris Alba was good, though.
