Michael Dirda introduces a new generation of readers to Anstey's (Guthrie's) work:
You’ve probably never heard of F. Anstey, but you know his work
I've read Vice Versa, about half of his autobiography A Long Retrospect, Lyre and Lancet, and The Giant's Robe -- but none of these recently. As I recall, the autobiography contains a bit on Bram Stoker, btw. I enjoyed all three of the novels, but I don't remember them well.

Here's a little about Vice Versa, a pioneering body-swap novel:

Has anyone here read him? Bick's been igniting discussion of Hugh Walpole. Anyone want to discuss things by the even less-remembered Anstey (Guthrie)?
My sole Anstey book is that omnibus, though mine's bound in green cloth and has no dustjacket.
