The BBC science fiction drama Survivors came back for is second series in spectacular style beating the competition from the channels that included Piers Morgan On Marbella, CSI and Celebrity Big Brother.
The series two opener ended up with 4.45 million viewers, but this is in fact lower that the series one opening figures of 5.33 million viewers.
The drama continued on from where the first series ended, and if we are to compare this with the original series from the 1970’s, the first series is better by far. It was dark and scary as it would be if extinction level event happened.
But this adaptation should be darker and even more scary, but if fails to deliver in that aspect or give a true account of what life would be like should civilisation collapse.
