Advanced Reader Review Contests

Bantam Dell holds contests for regular people to receive an advance copy of upcoming books. After random selection, several copies of each book are mailed out and those people are expected to send back a review. If the review is deemed worthy by them it could be posted on their site and elsewhere. If you feel like this is something you'd like to do, go here:

HarperCollins US has a similar program, called First Look. You can find out more about it here:

Unfortunately, it seems to be limited to residents of the US (because of rights considerations), however, I wouldn't be surprised if other branches of HarperCollins had advanced reader programs, too.
