The paperback version will be available late this year or early next year.
A very brief synopsis to give you an idea:
"Heavily armed Kurdish militants, trained and led by highly motivated Kurdish Peshmerga Forces, are tearing Iraq apart. The U.N. mobilise forces to stabilise the teetering country. In the cover of darkness a small Australian Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) patrol travel deep behind enemy lines to seek out and capture an enemy General who has gone into hiding.
The SASR patrol accidentally trigger a time portal and are thrown back into another time, another place. They find themselves in a land where warriors fight and die by the sword. They find themselves in 10th Century Viking Denmark!
What now? How will they find their way back? Will the people of that long forgotten land help them, or kill them?
Join the soldiers on this epic adventure as they struggle not only for survival, but to find their way home."
