1:14 Tripwire

Markus begins forging alliances with those strong enough to oppose Valhalla Sector forces, including the residents of the nearby town of Danbury, which still contains a nuclear arsenal. Markus believes that Valhalla Sector may plan a military take-over, which raises questions about Jeremiah's father. The mysterious Ezekiel raises doubts in Jeremiah, warning of danger before disappearing. Then a sniper kills Markus although Ezekiel stops him before he can kill Jeremiah. Jeremiah and Kurdy track down a wounded Ezekiel who confesses that Jeremiah's father raised him as his own son and warns Jeremiah from going to Valhalla sector. Then Ezekial flees, pursued by mysterious gunmen. Markus also warns off Jeremiah and then they return to Danbury where they are told their help is no longer wanted and alerting them that Valhalla is close...and getting closer.

Info from Jeremiah-Episode Guide (Tvtome.com)

This is an amazing episode, part of the important arc episodes of Jeremiah. We know more about Valhalla Sector, Ezequiel involvement with Devon, Jeremiah's father. Also a great episode for Markus. Definitely one of my favorites.

The funniest part of the episode was when Kurdy was showing the underwear of the dead guy to Jeremiah. It was hilarious. :D

Not quite what happens -- and Markus survives the shot.

After lots of episodes drip-feeding information, this one suddenly goes into overload. There are more story arc details in this episode than all the others put together. I’m glad that I gave this series a chance now, because I really like it now.

In this episode Markus reveals to Jeremiah and Kurdy that Valhalla Sector is making its move. Valhalla Sector forces have been moving across the United States and securing nuclear missile bases. One advantage of living in Thunder Mountain is that they have the ‘Big Board’, and Markus can see when other facilities with nuclear silos are brought online. It is obvious that Valhalla Sector plans to rebuild the country under martial law. Tracing the path backwards to the East Coast, we can assume that Valhalla Sector is located somewhere in southern Virginia.

Markus calls together all the search teams to announce plans to go out from Thunder Mountain to aid the town of Danbury. He claims that this is the start of their new mission to aid the outside world, but neglects to say that Danbury still contains a nuclear arsenal. When the agents of Valhalla Sector reach Danbury, Thunder Mountain will have advance warning of any attempt to occupy its missile silos.

Markus and Jeremiah argue, with Lee Chen delighted to be able to take Jeremiah down a notch. Jeremiah has made no secret of the fact that he is searching for Valhalla Sector because that is where his parents were heading when they disappeared. The comments made by Major Quantrell even gave Jeremiah hope that his parents were still alive. Markus points out that Valhalla Sector is the enemy, and if Jeremiah's father is working with them he might be the enemy too. Lee Chen tells Markus that Jeremiah will be the fall of Thunder Mountain.

Kurdy points out that Markus may be right. Jeremiah's last memory of his father was of him leaving the house with a shotgun planning to break into his own laboratory to steal something and then board a private plane for Valhalla Sector.
In Danbury, they help with aqueducts and street lighting, dealing with Samuel, the town’s leader. Jeremiah sees Lee Chen talking to Ezekiel. He tries to catch him but is knocked unconscious by Lee Chen. Meanwhile a strange, partially sighted, seer called Damien predicts that Markus will be shot. As Markus is about to make a speech a sniper sets his sights on him. Ezekiel stops the sniper who tries to kill Markus but is seriously wounded in the chest. (Lee Chen says that Jeremiah could have been the target, but Jeremiah was only there to warn Markus, he wasn’t meant to be on the platform.) We learn that Lee Chen is trained as a field medic.

Kurdy has some fun moments in this episode, several “You thinks!†and a scene in which he points out the clean underwear of the assassin. To Kurdy the underwear reveals that Valhalla Sector is so powerful that it has enough spare resources to make and wash underwear.

Jeremiah follows the trail of blood to Ezekiel. Ezekiel again claims several times to be Jeremiah's brother. But now he says that Jeremiah's father took Ezekiel in as an orphan and raised him as his own son. Jeremiah learns that his father is still alive, although his mother has passed away. Ezekiel also reveals to Jeremiah that his own, real father was responsible for the ‘Big Death’. It was because of Ezekiel’s father that the ‘Big Death’ escaped from the laboratory. Ezekiel warns Jeremiah that everything will be ruined if Jeremiah is discovered. In a dream, Ezekiel also says that Jeremiah has forgotten something, but what this means is not explained.

Jeremiah discusses what Ezekiel has told him, while Lee Chen eavesdrops. Strangely, Markus says Lee Chen has already told him. I can’t understand why Jeremiah would have told Lee Chen. They decide that there must be a spy within Thunder Mountain, and Lee Chen has to be the obvious choice, but even if he were not, Jeremiah would be unlikely to tell him anything of that importance. Has Jeremiah told Markus about seeing Ezekiel inside Thunder Mountain? Or about Lee Chen speaking to Ezekiel in Danbury? Spy or not, Lee Chen is keeping far too many secrets from Markus.

They return to Danbury, but are now given the cold-shoulder by Samuel. As Samuel turns them away we see Damien’s broken glassed on the desk behind him. A man with a walkie-talkie in the bushes watches them leave. Back at Thunder Mountain, the ‘Big Board’ shows a new light for Danbury.

Oops! Didn't see that when I copy it. That definitely wasn't what happens.
Well, this definitely was one of my favorites. It was awesome from beginning to end. Specially as you mention because all of the information it gives about everything. :D
