As promised I have now read the above book so here goes on my first review. (Please let me now what you think).
Ok lets get the criticism out of the way first. The book is a little short I thought the author could have made abit more of the book rather than finishing it where he did.
That being said I can honestly say it was one of the funniest books I have read in a long time. Having suffered the horror of books like "Board Of The Rings" and the like this book made a refreshing change. For once the author was not trying to copy Prachett and the other legends of the book world but writing something new and exciting instead.
I’ Brian stated that this was a self-published work in one of his posting and in one way I can see why. This book is not your normal run of the mill fantasy comedy, but neither was Prachett when he started.
All in all I can highly recommended this book and would give it 8 out of 10, only losing points on the length.
