Why didn't they use the coaxial warp drive?

I just got done watching a repeat of "Vis-a-vis", the episode where a DNA stealing alien is testing out his neat-o coaxial warp drive that could make huge jumps across space. This technology was working perfectly, and Voyager had even equiped it onto a shuttlecraft. Why the hell didn't they use it to get home, or at least cut some time off their trip?!

I thought they did use it at least once. Didn't they have trouble with it which led to some caution in using it again?

annette :D

i haven't watched it in a while but i think Neo's right. The ep goes from in Sickbay with Steth straight to the holodeck with Tom and B'Elanna. So maybe they did use it for a while, but we never got to see it. Or maybe they couldn't adapt it to a vessel as large as Voyager. I don't know, could be anything.

Well writed we wanna know.... loose ends and all that
