Can you recommend me a list of good non-canon sherlock holmes stories.
Preferably if they sound like canon.
Like David Marcum's MX series.

Possibly connected, but there was a decent Holodeck Episode in ST: The Next Generation where Moriarty becomes self aware.

Sherlock Holmes and the Servants of Hell by Paul Kane. This book is set in Clive Barker's Hellraiser universe.

The Holmes/Dracula File by Fred Saberhagen. Holmes and Dracula form an uneasy alliance to battle common enemy .

I thought Michael Chabon's Final Solution was excellent, but he does not try to sound like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Watson is not the narrator.

The Entire Mary Russell series by Laurie King, starting with The Beekeepers Apprentice.
Written with dash and creativity, the only reservation for a true Sherlockian is that Russell, not Holmes, takes center stage.
But Sherlock is a real presence throughout and his character is consistent and if anything a little deeper than in the original tales.
LINK

Sherlock Holmes The Martin Menace by Eric Brown This fun mashup of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and H G Wells :D

Sherlock Holmes and the Shadwell Shadows by James Lovegrove This is the first of a trilogy which pits Holmes an Watson against the minions of Cthulhu . The Second book is Sherlock Holmes and the Miskatonic Monstrosities and concluded in Sherlock Holmes and the Sussex Sea Devils Terrific stuff !
