BBC's Hardtalk is featuring an interview with James Elroy and, whilst I've never read his work, I found this to be an absolutely fascinating insight where he passionately explains what drives him as a writer, the levels of immersion he uses and why he refuses to use a mobile phone or log on to a computer.
I think there are things worthy of note for any aspiring writer in what he has to say.
The interview should be available on BBC iPlayer (since I switched my browser to Firefox I can't seem to be able to post hyperlinks......any tech advice would be gratefully received).
