There is a well rounded selection of science fiction on the shortlist to win the 2010 Arthur C Clarke awards for the best SF novel of the year.
In fact works by two previous winners of the award have made it onto the short list, Spirit by Gwyneth Jones and The City & The City by China Miéville, join the other four shortlisted works in with a chance of winning the £2,010 prize.
