LOTR on Blue Ray?

Did you all see that LOTR is available on blu ray (yeah I can't spell on the subject, durrr) now, but only the theatrical versions? Bummer! Probably a year or two for the extended versions... I'm not going to buy the theatrical version that way... too much money for something I'll end up re-buying in a year or so to get the "real" versions... Already have both as regular DVD, of course.

I didn't even have it DVD until 4 months ago. I'm thinking of totally bypassing blu ray and waiting for whatever comes afterwards.

Yeah, that sounds like the way to go... I'd like it on Blu-Ray, think it would look amazing, but... Buying them twice (again)? Nope... I bought the theatrical version and then extended on DVD because I was impatient... I learned my lesson!
