I was watching a collection of Michel Gondry's video clips today, and I was forced to conceed how extraordinarily-good they were. He has a particular skil for repetition and merging, building-up bizzare patterns in the filmclip that manage to actually complement the music, instead of just looking really cool and being in time.

But yes, looking at clips like "Come In to My World" aside "Let Forever Be" and "Bachelorette", it's kind of like watching elegantly-pretty weaving matched in lushness to the song. Plus damn funny.

So, does anyone have any other thoughts on him? I'm glad he's doing features now. Eternal Sunshine was brilliant.

I've mainly seen his work in Bjork videos (have a DVD of 'em which is tres cool) and he's really talented at spinning unusual narratives for the videos.
