Loneliness is an Artists’s Best Friend

It is very lonely here.
Here in this quiet loft.
There is only one sound.
The humming of the computer’s fans
Fans which save the computer
.........from rupturing into an inferno.

It is very lonely here.
Here in my inaudible mind.
There is only one noise.
The rattle of my brain’s thoughts
Thoughts which employ my brain
.........to write these words.
