Favorite Kate Elliott character?

Agreed on Alain. When he was on the page, I just couldn't put the book down. Also found Strong Hand a great character and he's second only to Alain in awesomeness.
 
Alain as a messianic figure, Theophanu because she reads as a really interesting leader, but yeah Rosvita too. A vital energy in the book.
