Who should replace Billie Piper?

I really like the current cast...Billie Piper (yummy) as Rose, and Eccleston as the Doctor.

I grew up with the Tom Baker incarnation, but I like Eccleston's version a lot.

What I can seem to gather info wise is that the final episode of the second season is a cliffhanger and you dont know if she will survive???

My guess is that she will stay on at least part way into series three.

She has earned alot of credit within the role and the chemistry between her and Tennant has been noted as electrifying so I reckon we will see her in most if not all series Three.

As for replacement, I think we should go for a reltive unknown person, but it is mainly the writing that brings the characters to life so I have no worries about who will replace her. Mr. Davies isn't going to allow Dr. Who regenrate into what the show once was. This is his baby and he wants to watch it grow.

As some may know Billie Piper has said she will be leaving Doctor Who at some point in the second series. David Tennant will be the new Doctor but the role of the assistant is still open.

Does anyone here on the forums have a suitable replacement?

Because she can so kick butt, and the good doctor needs a powerful female to keep him in check.

PS: I hate the new Dr. Who Doctor. GRRR. He is too scrawny and scarecrow-greasy looking. Reminds me of the kind of guy you would see at a club that keeps trying to buy you drinks. What the heck were they thinking anyways?

I have to admit that I was fairly sceptical when I first heard she was to be the Doc’s sidekick. All I knew about her was that she was a moderately successful singer who married Chris Evans. Still, since watching her performances in the role, I found myself quite impressed….so impressed in fact that I think she will be very difficult to replace.

There was a definite chemistry between her and both her doctors….so much so that I would not be surprised to see her final episode contain very strong echoes of the end of Kazuo Ishiguro’s Remains Of The Day.
