Hello.
Looking for a book. Cannot remember the title or the author or the cover. Saw in Waterstones Gower Street in Sci-Fi section. Alphabetically before Phillip K Dick. Author was a woman.
The back of the book described the story as follows. A man applies for a job and in the dependant section makes up a son. A while later he receives a phonecall from prison from a boy with exact same name as he made up who looks exactly as the photoshopped picture the man used for his made up son. Set in UK.
